Google Will Own Realtime Search by Indexing, Filtering and Ranking Tweets Better than Twitter
Posted in: Search Engines (SEO) | Comments (0)
The conventional thinking now is that Twitter’s search will spell
trouble for Google. I believe that it will be Google that will be the
first to filter tweets and deliver useful, relevant results sets. This
seems so obvious yet I have not seen anyone write about it yet. Maybe
the Twitterati is high on their own supply.

Social Networking and You

Wherever you go on the web today you can be linked. Someone said recently on another forum, all my roads lead back home… What she meant was that even though she has a vast web presence, all her networking leads back to one place.
She is right. You need to be in many places. That is a must now if you are trying to market your work. How on earth would someone find you if you do not market yourself? People seem to think that they can put up a site, or put an image in a gallery, and thats it! EVERYONE will see it. More on page 45

ShareASale – 10/10
Posted in: Affiliates | Comments (1)
If you are just dipping your feet into the world of affiliation, you cannot go wrong joining ShareASale.
There are currently over 2,000 Merchants plugged in to the ShareASale Network. Each of these merchants has a different type of product that they are selling – and each is ready to commission you on that sale if you bring a customer to them.
The idea – and the implementation – are simple. You decide which merchants to promote and how to promote them, and when commissions are generated, you can see your stats in real-time. All payments are consolidated from the programs you participate in, and are paid with one check or direct deposit by ShareASale.
ShareASale has a strict “No Software” policy which means you will not have to deal with affiliates utilizing Adware, Toolbars, or other desktop software.
I use ShareASale and, to date, they have been honestm approachable and very easy to get around. Of all the affiliate companies this is a great one.
I have no hesitation therefore in giving them a score of 10/10
