1stAngel: Do your ideas come from life or imagination?
Lee: My ideas come from a surreal juxtaposition of imagination and snapshots of life
1stAngel: How do you choose your images and colours?
Lee: Many of my images are stored in mental portfolio/old sketches sometimes from many years ago. The palette that I create from, usual has its origin in African/American tapestries and colorscapes. A great deal of my colors and forms derive from emotion and the ability and innate need to feel, comprehend and translate another persons (also my own) emotion onto the canvas.
